Water Outage Planned For Tuesday 9/23/25 in the Howell Community

Water line repairs will cause a water outage to residents in the Howell Community.

Fayetteville Public Utilities has announced a planned water outage in the Howell community for Tuesday morning (9/23/25) as crews continue making critical improvements to the utility system. The outage will begin around 8:30 a.m. and is expected to last until approximately noon, weather and conditions permitting. Areas affected include Brown teal Road, Haysland Road, Bear Claw Lane, March Mill road, Round Square Road, Sawyer Road, and Shields Road. (Listen to entire interview in audio link above)
