The U.S. Postal Service says if you want your letters and packages to arrive in time for Christmas you need to mark these three deadline dates. These shipping dates are only for delivery in the lower 48 states, not Alaska, Hawaii or overseas. The first deadline is December 17th if you are shipping USPS Ground Advantage Service or First-Class Mail. Priority Mail Service deadline is December 18th, and December 20th is the shipping deadline for domestic Priority Mail Express Service.
