The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is excited to announce the 2025 Sheriff’s Citizens Academy! This 8-week program gives Lincoln County residents a unique, behind-the-scenes look at your Sheriff’s Office, our people, our culture, and how law enforcement works in your community.
Key Dates
Application Deadline: Sept. 19, 2025
First Class: Oct. 2nd, 2025
* Participants will receive over 20 hours of instruction and hands-on experience covering:
-Patrol Division, Dispatch, and K9.
-Criminal Investigations and Crime Scene.
-Detention Center {Jail}
-Swat Team and Honor Guard
-Courthouse Security
-School Resource Deputies.
-Criminal Law and Prosecution
Meets Thursday nights, 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Open to Lincoln County residents, age 21+
Background and driver history checks required
Limited class size of 20 residents, apply early!
