The Tullahoma Airport Authority has named a new interim Airport Manager. In a media release this morning, Ashley Udick was officially named as the interim manager, replacing John Miller who was named interim manger in a special called meeting by the board in October. Tullahoma City Administrator Jason Quick thanked both Miller and Airport Authority Board Chairman Karla Smith, for their tireless efforts in managing the airport for these past many weeks. The community owes huge debt to them both. This follows an incident that occurred October 29 when there was a fuel spill at the airport that EMA and Homeland Security concluded was accidental with contributing factors being a lack of training of airport personnel and lack of standard operating procedure guidelines.
