More public hearings on revisions to the Lincoln county Growth Plan will be held this week and next.
The first of several public hearings dealing with the Lincoln County Growth Plan was last Thursday night at the courthouse. Lincoln County Commissioner Daniel Eldridge told the group the growth plan had not been updated in 25 years. Houston Matthews with Cory Engineering explained how the growth plan would be revised based on comments from the public during these public hearings. The next two public hearings will be next Thursday, August 14th at 6 and 7 p.m. then again August 21 at 6 p.m. All of the meetings will be held in the main courtroom upstairs in the courthouse.
