Fayetteville Sales Tax Revenue Up Over Last Year

Sales tax revenue for December last year saw a 5.2 percent increase over December 2024.

Sales tax revenue for December last year saw a 5.2 percent increase over December 2024. City Administrator Kevin Owens said the total sales tax revenue $344,388.00. The cities portion of the state sales tax was up 1.8 percent increase with $75,221.00. The occupancy tax revenue continue to decline in December with total occupancy tax revenue being just $5,570.00. Owens said that represents a 41.1 percent decrease over the same time last year.
