The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall for more than 201-thousand camping stoves sold nationwide and on-line at Walmart. In a recall notice issued last week, the CPSC warned that Ozark Trail Tabel top single burner butane camp stoves could explode or catch fire. Prior to the recall, the manufacturer, China Window Industry Company Limited, received 26 reports of camping stoves exploding or catching fire resulting in at least 26 injuries including second degree burns. The stoves were sold from Match 2023 through October 2025. Consumers are instructed to immediately stop using this product and return it to any Walmart store for a full refund.
