Back to back house fires kept fights busy Thursday morning.
Lincoln County Fire/Rescue volunteers responded to back to back house fires this morning. The first call came in about eight o’clock this morning and sent firefighters to 429 Smith Mill Road. The caller told 911 dispatchers fire was coming from an outlet inside the home. Just as they were clearing up from that scene they were called to 18 Myrick Road in the Flintville community. That call came in shortly after ten o’clock this morning. A passer-by notice the house on fire and called 911. Lincoln County Fire Chief and EMA Director Doug Campbell said initial indications are that space heaters were the cause of both fires.
