AMBER ALERT Suspect Arrested in Ardmore

A suspect wanted in Auburn, Alabama for murder and child abduction arested early Friday morning in Ardmore.

A man wanted in connection with a double murder and child abduction in Auburn, Alabama was arrested this morning in Ardmore. Auburn Assistant Police Chief Mike Harris confirmed that Aaron Dontay Williams was arrested about 7:15 this morning and the child was located unharmed. In a press release Auburn Police said that officers were called to a residence in Auburn about 2:30 yesterday afternoon. They found an adult female and juvenile female dead and were told by family members that a three-year-old male was missing. Williams, the husband of the deceased female and father of the young boy were not at the residence and was believed to have committed the murders and abduction. An Amber Alert was issued yesterday afternoon. Information was developed overnight that led to Williams arrest this morning. The U.S. Marshalls Service, FBI and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested Williams in Ardmore. The investigation is continuing according to the press release.
