Farmers needing to renew their Private Applicator license still have plenty of time to earn the necessary points.
Lincoln County’s Agricultural Extension Agent Bruce Steelman said that anyone needing to recertify their Private Applicator license have until June 30th, next year to get the three points necessary for recertification. Some farmers may have already received their notice from the Tennessee Department of Agriculture that their licenses are expiring soon. Steelman said there will be several opportunities to earn the three necessary points in the January/ February time frame to get those points. Once the events and dates are set Steelman said he would let everyone know.
