Dwight "Jukebox" King returned to Fayetteville, Tennessee in 1958. At the young age of 14 he worked at the Lincoln Theater, but a year later he got the best job a could have, working for Earl Hyde at the "Hyde Out" Restaurant and the Earl Hyde Furniture Store. Two days after high school graduation he entered the U S Navy, he served aboard the USS Okinawa, USS Denver and the USS Sailfish a submarine, in the Navy he was trained in radar radio, navigation, electronic warfare, helicopter controller & naval gunfire support, he is a Vietnam veteran and assisted in search and recuse missions and the evacuation of Saigon.

After his time in the service he started his career in banking that lasted over 47 years. He has been a member of the band Four on the Floor since 1988. He has been married to his lovely wife Wyanne for 49 years, they have two daughters and three grandchildren. One of these grandchildren, Sophie Carter, sometimes fills in as the "Jukebox Princess".

Dwight attends the Fayetteville Cumberland Presbyterian Church, loves to fish with his grandchildren and has an English black Labrador dog named Shadow. He joined Elk River Media in February 2023. Dwight hopes you'll enjoy his selections from "The Jukebox" and welcomes your suggestions every Wednesday night and on Saturday mornings.
