An equipment failure is being blamed for a wide spread interest outage late Wednesday afternoon.
Fayetteville Public Utilities internet customers experienced a widespread outage late yesterday. FPU officials say an equipment failure caused almost their entire system to crash at about 5:30 Wednesday afternoon. Service was restored at about 8 o’clock last night.
