The Lincoln County Board of Public Utilities will be cutting and capping off the old water main on L. Mitchell Road in Flintville and tying into the new line today. Water service will be interrupted for customers on L. Mitchell Road from 8 o’clock this morning until about 3 o’clock this afternoon. While that work is being done Crystal Springs Road will be reduced to one lane. Motorist should avoid Crystal Springs Road today is possible and if you live on L. Mitchell Road you might want to fill some extra containers with water not only for drinking but also fill some buckets to allow you to fill and flush your toilets.
