Fayetteville Public Utilities water customers living in the Mimosa area, Deer Trace and Lover’s Lane may have experienced lower water pressure or reduced flow this afternoon after a leak was discovered in a water line. As crews began work just before 2 o’clock, I talked with FPU CEO and General Manager Britt Dye(Click audio link for that sound bitel). If you experienced problems earlier all of those issues should be resolved now as service was expected to return to normal by around 3:30 this afternoon.;
