Voters will be going to the polls today and based on early voting, the turnout today is expected to be heavy.

Voters will be going to the polls today and based on early voting, the turnout today is expected to be heavy. Election Commission officials tell me that 700 new potential voters registered to vote since January 1st this year, bringing the total number of registered voters in Lincoln County to 24,240. Election Commission said 4,255 voters cast ballots during early voting, that’s roughly 17 percent of registered Lincoln County voters who have already cast ballots. Polls open this morning at 9 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. we will have complete election coverage for you tonight.
