The Tennessee Department of Tourist Development released figures showing the economic impact to Lincoln County from tourism. Based on 2025 visitor spending Lincoln County ranked 48 out of the state’s 95 counties. Direct visitor spending totaled $29,645,200. That resulted in $1,657,700 in State taxes and 41,155,000 in local tax revenue. That’s roughly $270,000 less than 2024 and about 750,000 less than the highest year of 2023. Direct visitor spending are those dollars that a visitor exchanges with businesses in five categories including food and beverages, lodging, amusement and recreation, retail and transportation.
