A Tullahoma Middle School student is dead after being hit by a dump truck this morning while on the way to school. Tullahoma Assistant Police Chief Jason Kennedy confirmed that a child riding their bike to school was hit by a dump truck but the investigation has been turned over the Tennessee Highway Patrol. THP told me the accident happened at Kings Lane and Country Club Drive and that ci9rcumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation and no further details are available. I spoke with a resident of Tullahoma that lives near the accident site who said the child was a student at East Middle School.
