Strong thunderstorm and wind gust up to 60 miles per hour knock out power to more than 1200 Fayetteville Utility customers last night. The squall line of storms ripped across Lincoln County about 8 o’clock last night. While most of the outages were short lived, as of 3:30 this morning FPU was still reporting 31 customers without power. Duck River Electric reported more than 5,000 customers across its 7 county service area without power immediately following the storms. As of 3:30 this morning all but 543 customers had been restored.
