A 39-year-old New Market man man is behind bars in Lincoln county charged with three counts of child abuse, or neglect and other charges.

A 39-year-old New Market man man is behind bars in Lincoln county charged with three counts of child abuse, or neglect, domestic assault, failure to appear, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession and having contraband in a penial facility. Brian Thomas Mansfield was arrested by deputies and booked into the jail awaiting his first court appearance Thursday. He is being held on bonds totaling 69,500.00
