One person is dead another behind bars following a deadly shooting in Pulaski on Saturday. Pulaski Police, Giles County deputies and EMS paramedics were called to a residence on Culpepper Street in Pulaski, to a reported shooting. When they arrived, they found 37-year-old Jeremy D’Juan Gardner dead from a gunshot wound. Following the initial investigation officers arrested 40-year-old Cory Dwain Perry. Perry was booked into the Giles County Jail and is being held without bond. He faces multiple felony charges, including first-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm. Detective Sergent Keith Crabtree is leading the investigation and says more charges and arrests are possible. No motive was given pending further investigation.
