The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department trustees provided more than 700 pounds of fresh produce to Hands of Mercy to help provide nutritious food to individuals and families throughout Lincoln County.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department serves our community in more ways than just law enforcement. With the hard work of the staff and the Trustees they provide additional service to the community. The trustees asked Sheriff Malone about having a community garden earlier to which he agreed. Thanks to that decision, more than 700 pounds of fresh produce was donated to Hands of Mercy to help provide nutritious food to individuals and families throughout Lincoln County. In a social media post Sheriff Malone said, This garden is more than just a place to grow vegetables-its an opportunity to give back, teach responsibility, and strengthen our community through service. WSe are proud to partner with Hands of Mercy and remain committed to helping those in need.”
