Five Year Old Murder Case Still Under Investigation

Giles county deputies along with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Tennessee Department of Homeland Security executed a search warrant at a location on Buford Station Road in connection with a five-year-old murder case.

In a media release posted on the department’s social media page, authorities said investigators continue to follow every lead in the murder of Jim Gimes who live near where the search warrant was executed yesterday. Due to the on-going nature of the investigation specific details are not being released. Sheriff Joe Pervis is asking that anyone who may have any information about this murder to call the Giles County Sheriff’s Department.
