One person is recovering at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville following a fight last night in Flintville. Lincoln County Deputies, HH Lincoln EMS Paramedics and volunteers from Lincoln County Fire Rescue responded to a home at 145 Mason Road about 10:15 to what was initially reported as a shooting. Lincoln County Deputy Chief Patrick Murdock said Emergency medical personnel could not confirm the victims injuries were the result of a gunshot wound. The unidentified victim was flown by helicopter to Vanderbilt for treatment of cuts to the head. The investigation is on-going and the evidence will be presented to the Lincoln County District Attorney’s office who will determine if the case should be presented to a grand jury for possible indictments.
