Fayetteville Police are investigating a shooting that resulted in three people being injured.

Fayetteville Police are investigating a shooting that resulted in three people being injured. Fayetteville Police, Lincoln county deputies, Tennessee State Troopers, Lincoln EMS Paramedics and Fayetteville Fire all responded to the scene. A police official said the shooting happened about 9:30 last night on Roberson Street and Hedgemont Avenue. This is the same area where police have been investigating several shots fired calls this year. One of the victims, unconfirmed as a 17-year-old female, was transferred to Huntsville Hospital for treatment. Police would not confirm the ages or genders of the victims.
