Fayetteville High School Criminal Justice Gets a Firsthand Look at Homicide Investigations
Fayetteville High School Criminal Justice students had an amazing opportunity to interview and ask questions directly to the homicide investigators featured on A&E’s The First 48! As part of the experience, students watched an episode of the show and then had the opportunity to speak with the actual detectives who worked the case. Students were able to ask questions about the investigation, the challenges detectives face, what it takes to become a homicide investigator, and what happens behind the scenes of a real homicide investigation. Experiences like this allow students to connect what they learn in the classroom to real-world criminal justice careers.
