The electrical issues at Unity School have been repaired.
The electrical issues at Unity School have been repaired. Lincoln County School Superintendent Jacob Sorrells notified me late yesterday afternoon that electricians and school maintenance personnel have finished their work. A portion of the school was without power Tuesday after an electrical issue was created by locked up HVAC fan motor that overheated and filled a conference room with smoke Monday afternoon. Only a small portion of the building was without power yesterday and the outage did not affect students or school operations. Unity School will be open this morning as usual.
