Drought Conditions Returning to Southern Middle Tennessee

Despite one of the wettest first half of the year on record, drought conditions are returning to Southern Middle Tennessee.

The first half of this year was one of the wettest ever recorded in Middle Tennessee. But despite the excess rainfall drought conditions are returning to some areas of Tennessee. According to the Tennessee Drought Monitor, the eastern half of Lincoln County, all of Moore County and most of Franklin County fall under drought conditions.
